The World's First Liquid Metal-Frame Phone To Go On Pre-Order This Month
"There is no person on the world that didn't drop their smartphone, but there are some people who do that on a daily basis, resulting in a cracked display or casing. If you are one of them and searching for a durable phone, then Turing Robotic Industries has something for you.
The world's first liquid metal-frame smartphone, called Turing Phone, will go on pre-order beginning July 31. It is designed using Liquidmorphium, a new metal stronger than titanium or steel. Nothing is unbendable, but this material is very close to that as it dissipates shock more efficiently. Alongside strong material, the phone has an IPx8 waterproof rating (submersible up to 30ft).
Three models will be available. The 16 GB costs $610, 64 GB is $740 and the 128 GB sells for $870. Customers will also be able to choose from four different colour options that will be announced on July 22.
Not only it uses strong material, it also packs a high-end hardware. It comes equipped with a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front snapper.
If this turns out good, maybe Apple could use this material to prevent iPhones from bending!"
