Edward Holcroft returning for Kingsman 2

Although his Charlie Hesketh character seemed to have met his demise in the 2015 original, Edward Holcroft is returning for Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming Kingsman: The Secret Service 2. Deadline has the news, reporting that the actor will be back for the 2017 followup. Whether or not he’ll be again playing Charlie, however, remains to be seen.

Αν κι ομολογώ ότι το comic μου άρεσε πιο πολύ από την ταινία (οι υποθέσεις/εξελίξεις των δύο είχαν στενή αλλά όχι απόλυτη σχέση/σύνδεση), η ταινία ήταν αξιοπρεπέστατη. Ελπίζω η δεύτερη να σταθεί στο ύψος της πρώτης, μιας και τώρα θα βασίζεται σε "original" σενάριο κι όχι σε "αναπροσαρμογή" ήδη υπάρχοντος.

First Kingsman: The Golden Circle poster teases an unexpected return!

Following the reveal of the official title last week, Kingsman star Taron Egerton has taken to Twitter to reveal the first Kingsman: The Golden Circle poster, which teases the return of Colin Firth’s Harry Hart! Director Matthew Vaughn previously teased that they’d figure out a way for “Galahad” to return last year.

“A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I’m coming up with ideas at the moment. If people buy tickets in America, I’ve got a feeling we’ll figure out a way for having Colin back.”

Pedro Pascal boards Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Following the reveal of the official title last week, and the teasing of Colin Firth’s Harry Hart returning, Deadline reports that director Matthew Vaughn has added “Game of Thrones” star Pedro Pascal to the illustrious Kingsman: The Golden Circle cast.

Pascal will apparently be playing a character named Jack Daniels, for what it’s worth. He joins the returning star Taron Egerton in the sequel to the $415 million-grossing sleeper hit.

Channing Tatum joins the Kingsman: The Golden Circle cast!

We’ve gotten a few big surprises the last week for 20th Century Fox’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. First up was star Taron Egerton revealing the title and teasing that Colin Firth’s Harry Hart will return. Then we got word that Pedro Pascal was joining The Golden Circle cast, and then the even bigger surprise: Elton John might be on board as well. Now, Channing Tatum has revealed that he, too, has joined The Golden Circle cast with the below tweet! It is unknown which character he is playing at this point.

Vinnie Jones reunites with Matthew Vaughn for Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Character actor Vinnie Jones has taken to Twitter to reveal that he’s reunited with director Matthew Vaughn for the upcoming Kingsman: The Golden Circle in an undisclosed role. A former professional footballer Jones first film credit was in the Guy Ritchie-directed, Matthew Vaughn-produced Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. The pair continued to collaborate with Jones appearing in Snatch and being cast as The Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand before Vaughn’s departure.

First Kingsman: The Golden Circle photos and new details

EW has debuted the first Kingsman: The Golden Circle photos and has also published new details on 20th Century Fox‘s anticipated sequel, coming to theaters on September 29. They say:

“Brand new, beyond-Bond gadgets include a mechanical attack dog and an electric cowboy-style lasso that slices through bad guys… And the new cast not only includes four Oscar winners, but is ridiculously cool, with Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Game of Thrones‘ Pedro Pascal appearing as members of the Statesman, America’s Kingsman equivalent. Julianne Moore also costars as a Martha Stewart-ish global entrepreneur named Poppy and Elton John pops up as a “Vaughn-ized” (per the director) version of himself.”
