Android 7.0 Nougat

Σήμερα ξεκινά η κυκλοφορία του Android 7, με προτεραιότητα όπως πάντα των Nexus, απο τα οποία όμως μόνο τα Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 και Pixel C θα αναβαθμιστούν.

Το multiwindow δεν περιμενα ν μην δουλευει αριστα με το Chrome παντως ...

όχι...εννοεί σε split screen που πατώντας το κουμπί recents δυο φορές γρήγορα, εναλλάσει τις τελευταίες 2 εφαρμογές...
εννοείται και το double click του power button που ανοίγει την κάμερα ότι είναι τρελή ευκολία..

Based on our own research (and conversations with parties that preferred not to be named), it looks like the biggest roadblock with Nougat on older devices is that Qualcomm isn’t providing support for the Snapdragon 800 and 801 chipsets under Nougat.

In short, Qualcomm could provide Nougat support for older chips, but so few Android phone makers are actually asking for it that Qualcomm has decided not to go to the trouble.

Δηλαδή μπαϊ μπαϊ τούρμπο τσαρτζ, εκτός κι αν το κάνουν στη συνέχεια σε κάποιο απντειτ!
Βέβαια, ακόμα νωρίς είναι, ακόμα ούτε όλες οι νεξους συσκευές δεν έχουν νουγκατ.
Ασχέτως αυτού, ακόμα δε κατάλαβα πάντως γιατί το 6ρ δεν έχει υποστήριξη για κουαλκομ 2 φαστ τσαρτζ.
Απ'οσο έχω δει, το νέο νεξους θα έχει κουαλκομ 3. Φορτιστή έχω πάρει, είναι έτοιμος, τηλέφωνο του χρόνου! Χαχαχαχα
Τώρα θα κάτσω σταβγα μου με το 6ρ για κάνα χρόνο και βλέπουμε.

To recap, here is everyone who you can blame when you're wondering why your two-year-old Android phone won't get Nougat:

• Your phone maker (and cellular carrier) for providing poor support for older phones and slow updates for current ones.
• Qualcomm, for responding to the lack of OEM demand by totally dropping support for chips that are, at most, three years old.
• Google, possibly for raising the performance requirements for Android and definitely for creating this chaotic update situation in the first place.

For a certain subsection of Android users who are determined to run the update, third-party ROMs like Cyanogenmod and others may eventually make it possible. Those users are willing to put up with a certain amount of instability and insecurity, and ROMs don't need to pass compatibility testing. But that's not a realistic option for most people, who are still being hung out to dry by the companies they gave their money to.
