Το υπάρχον hd dvd του The Mummy, πάντως, θυμίζει πιο πολύ dvd στην εικόνα του. Ας ελπίζουμε να πρόκειται για νέα μεταφορά.

Ειδικα με το The Mummy γυρισα πισω στο '98 που επικαρατουσε η ιδια κατασταση με το DVD οπου τα εργα που εβρισκες ηταν λιγα και χωρις greek subtitles.Αυτο ηταν ενα απο αυτα.......εισαγωγης.

The Mummy (HD DVD)
'The Mummy' is not really a great movie, but it is a perfectly capable, quite stylish Hollywood confection. I personally wished it had been more of a horror movie instead of just another Indiana Jones rip-off, but the film made gazillions at the box office so what do I know? One thing is for sure, however: this HD DVD is another fine catalog release from Universal. The transfer and soundtrack are spiffy, and we get plenty of extras (even if they are somewhat dated). Definitely worth a look for 'Mummy' fans.

The Mummy Returns (HD DVD)
'The Mummy Returns' is a fun sequel, more enjoyable than the first 'Mummy.' This HD DVD is also fully loaded, with an excellent transfer and soundtrack, plus a plethora of extras. Alas, most of the making-of material is pretty fluffy, but seeing as this isn't exactly 'Citizen Kane,' I can't knock the disc down too much for that. This one is absolutely recommended for 'Mummy' fans.

Σε βρίσκω αρκετά αυστηρό.
Συμφωνώ μεν πως δεν βρίσκονται στην λίστα με της κορυφαίες μεταφορές της Universal παρόλα αυτά σε καμία περίπτωση οι υπάρχουσες version των Mummy’s δεν θυμίζουν dvd.
Ηταν από τα πρώτα review της κατηγορίας και θυμάμαι πολύ καλα ( με την συνηθισμένη παρεα ) την σύγκριση που ειχαμε κανει με την dvd version.
Οι διαφορές μεν δεν ήταν χαοτικές όπως συμβαίνει με τα κορυφαία transfer αλλα αρκετά μεγάλες για να θεωρούνται σημαντικές.
Συμφωνώ πάντως πως καλο θα ηταν να τις βελτιώσουν καθως όπως γράφω σε κάποιο σημειο των review οι δυο αυτές ταινίες διαθέτουν πλούσια ψηφιακά εφφε αλλα και εικόνες που μπορούν να αναδείξουν ακόμα περισσότερο την υψηλή ανάλυση.

Να διευκρινήσω ότι αναφέρομαι αποκλειστικά στην πρώτη ταινία. Ίσως να είμαι όντως υπερβολικός, αλλά επειδή την είδα σχετικά πρόσφατα, μαζί με καμιά δεκαριά άλλες ταινίες-εκπροσώπους του φορμά, ήταν η μόνη που μου χτύπησε άσχημα η εικόνα της και οι διαφορές που είδα σε σχέση με το dvd ανεβασμένο στα 1080 δε μπόρεσαν στα μάτια μου να δικαιολογήσουν τα χρήματα για την αγορά της.

Επισης τον Αυγουστο θα βγει στο cinema η τριτη συνεχεια The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor με σκηνοθετη τον Rob Cohen ("The Fast and the Furious," "xXx") και σεναριογραφους τους Alfred Gough & Miles Millar ("Spider-Man 2," television's "Smallville").

Επίσης υπαρχουν και αλλοι δυο τιτλοι από Αυστραλία με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους ( εχει αναφερθεί ξανα εδώ )

Το αγοράζεις , το ανοίγεις το βάζεις στο player σου και αν εχει ελληνικά εισαι οκ.
Υπαρχει ασφαλέστερος τροπος με την Odeon στη διανομή;
