Το παρήγορο είναι πάντως πως αυτοί οι καραγκιόζηδες έφτιαξαν drivers και για Windows, τελικά...

Έχω την εντύπώση οτι ακόμα mac only είναι . Αυτά δεν είναι drivers είναι plug ins , eq compressors κτλ για daws (digital audio workstation προγράμματα που χρησιμοποιούν ηχολήπτες και μουσικοι παραγωγοί . )

Μερικά στοιχεία για το 3d upgrade από το βίντεο που ανέβασα πιο πάνω:

"Instead of the shark DSP there will be a FPGA Chip. The 2D card had 384 KB of RAM, the 3D card will have 32MB on chip RAM plus 1GB of Realtime RAM plus 4GB of Boot RAM. DSP power is supposed to be larger for a factor of 3.5
The clocking has been renewed as well as the power management, which should lead to an improvement in sound quality. The clock will be 12 times more precise, they say.
Connections will include MH Link (Gigabit-Ethernet) with 128 channels/192KHz , USB-C, and with different Edgebus Cards additionally for example 64 channels of Madi and 64 channels of optical connection. DSP power can be shared between different MH Boxes if necessary."

Προχθές, έπεσε το ρεύμα με ανοιχτή τη μέτρικ και όλα τα ηχεία. Ακούστηκε ένα γδούπος, νόμισα ότι έπεσε ο ουρανός στο κεφάλι μου, σαν τον Μαζεστίξ. Ελπίζω το νέο "power management", το νέο dsp ή δεξερωγωτί να αντιμετωπίζει τέτοια θέματα...

Θα έπρεπε να έχει τουλάχιστον ένα ρελέ που να απομονώνει την έξοδο προς τον τους τελικούς . Όλα τα σοβαρά μηχανήματα έχουν. Ετσι δεν θα σου έπεφτε ο ουρανός στο κεφάλι.

Φυσικά μόνο για τη μετρικ, διότι το πρόβλημά σου οφείλεται στο ότι σε διακοπή πρώτα κλείνει η μετρικ και μετά οι ενισχυτές των ηχείων, λόγω αδράνειας της τροφοδοσίας τους.

Πάρε οτιδήποτε - κάτι οικονομικό line interactive όπως τα τυπικά για PC, δεν έχει νόημα για κάτι παραπάνω, διότι το εξωτερικό τροφοδοτικό της μετρικ είναι απλό διακοπτικό, και έχει άλλα στάδια εσωτερικά.
Δες πόσα βατ είναι το εξωτερικό τροφοδοτικό της, και πάρε ups τουλάχιστον χ2,5, θα είναι κάτι πολύ μικρό σε κατανάλωση.
Προφανώς κι αυτό αρκεί με το παραπάνω..

περιμενω το phono stage, μετα απο παρεγγελια , εδω και κανα 2-3 χρονια, 5-6 τηλεφωνα, 3-4 συναντησεις, αλλα τιποτα..

The processing going on in the "Custom dedicated processing cores" (marked with a *) above is approximately equivalent to the processing power of 30 2d DSPs. It is dedicated processing, so it can’t be used for plugins, but it is processing that has to be implemented on the DSP in 2d, and it requires no instantiable DSP power in 3d.

The RAM available to the instantiable +DSP core (1 GB) is more than 2500x the RAM available in 2d (384 kB); this means that running out of memory for delays or reverbs simply won’t happen on 3d.

In multibox systems, the instantiable processing is distributed over the processors in all the boxes, so adding more boxes adds more processing.
