Culture Channels on the Horizon
From the autumn of 2006 on Euro1080 will launch a series of regional culture channels, which will be branded HD3.
In total, 11 culture channels will be set up in the period 2006-2008 for different European regions:
Flanders, The Netherlands, the French language region, the German language region, Scandinavia, Italy, Spain, UK, Poland, Russia and Turkey.
Seventy percent of the content of the culture channels will be “pan-European”, i.e. common for all HD3 channels.
The bulk of it will be high profile music programmes (classical music, opera, rock, pop music,…).
20% of the content will be regional and concentrate on other cultural expressions such as theatre, literature, exhibitions, photography, etc.
The remaining 10% will also be regional, but will be exchangeable for the other HD3 culture channels thanks to the common programme format.

Dutch HDTV Bouquet Becomes Reality
From May 2006 onwards cable viewers in the Netherlands will be able to enjoy HDTV. All major cable companies (Essent, Casema, Multikabel and CAIW) decided to offer a HDTV bouquet, which includes HD1 NL, a specifically for the Dutch market designed version of HD1.
Όσο για αυτό, τι να πω..... Και εδώ στο Ελλάντα τυχαίνει και πιάνουμε πάλι από σπόντα το HD-1 NL (στον W3A 7east....)
Άρα μην περιμένετε τίποτα από το Euro1080 (όχι mundial, όχι να βελτιώσει το σήμα, ούτε το απλό κανάλι HD-1 δεν θα δούμε εδώ στην Ελλαδίτσα....)....
Και να σκεφτείς ότι κάποτε τους είχαμε στον HellasSat2......
Μακάρι κάποιος να με διαψεύσει αλλά πιστεύω ότι το euro1080 είναι χαμένη υπόθεση (και λεφτά για συνδρομές) .....
Αλλού πρέπει να στραφούμε....
