Release Notes for ReelVDR 009preview4 "IFA":

Changes against last developer release dr15
- Reelskin is back! Unfortunately with this no receiving (black screen)
happens more often when
zapping. Though this skin is not the default for now. Use at your own
risk.
- first version of the newly written channelscan
- new ftp-server "bftpd". Now there are tho users "ftp" (anonymous) and
"root"
the first one only has access to the video-dir and is supposed for
daily use.
"root" has full access to the hole box, so you should know what you
are doing!
- new startup animation
- new fronpanelsoftware. this is mainly for supporting the new RB
Lite+Avantgarde. With PVR1100
this only changes behavior of the LEDs to a more "pulsing" style.


more changes against 009preview3
- first support for 16:9 devices (adjustable with Setup->Video->Misc)
- burning DVDs works again (archiv-DVDs & standard-DVDs)
- shift-keys (2nd function) introduced for some keys. The shift-key is
activated when pressing the
according key for more than 2 seconds.
shift+stop => eject
shift+? => EPG-Info for current Program
shift+< (less) => audio-channel-selection
- modified menustructure
- showing background image if there is no video signal (for CD/mp3
replay)
- corrected left-shifted picture
- don't have to wait for timeout when switching channels if you press
"OK"
- added new ARD radiochannels on Astra
- new versions for mp3, osdteletext and director plugin; though small
bugfixes
- mp3 plugin now starts in browsing-mode (instead of playlist-mode)
- reduced drivespeed when playing mp3-CDs
- reduced background transparancy for better readablity
- fixed horizontal picturedistortion
- noticeable reduced jerking of picture when switching channel
- noticeable reduced reaction in trickmodes (pause, forward/rewind,
jump)
- 44.1kHz audio-material (audio-CDs, (S)VCDs, mp3) is being played
correct
- added speed delimiter for audio-CDs and DVDs
- Behavior of teletext, timer-, channelinfo- and setup-keys harmonised:
pressing the first time turns on display of menu, 2nd time turns it
off again
- recordings in subdirectories are now only displayed only once even
when sorted by date
(still numer of recordings is not correct)
- Better operability with channel-entries that are not receiveable
