Αναφορά από το Stereophile Αυγούστου για την παρουσία της Ελληνικής Ypsilon στην έκθεση του Μονάχου.
"In the millionaires-only range,Greek company Ypsilon Electronics
showed a system comprising: a CD transport, a nonoversampilng D/A converter
with a tube output stage, a preamp based on an in-house,nickelcore
transformer volume control but that also has an active input stage that can
be switched in when necessary.
A tube driver stage, single-ended mono power amps with MOSFET output stages,
flat ribbon silver alloy cables and some speakers of Ypsilon's own design.
Everything is superbly finished and the whole lot costs about $340.000.
It all worked rather well, too, combining pace, rhythm, and
timing with holographic soundstaging."
