STORY
After riding my bike through 20km of winding passes and a steep off-road trail, my wife and I reached a secluded campsite truly 'away from the human world.' My first night was a washout due to heavy mist, but after a day of rest (and jokingly threatening my local friend that I’d never return if the weather failed me again) -the second night was a dream.
This 180-degree panorama is the result: the peaks of Phu Sa Phin (2.865m) and Sa Mu (2.756m) sit below vibrant atmospheric airglow, while the autumn Milky Way arch rises magnificently in the north. It was the most spectacular night sky I’ve seen all year, giving me every reason to return.
