Θα πάρει πόδι ο Raikkonon απο Ferrari?

Kimi Raikkonen could depart Ferrari as soon as the end of this season, according to reports.

Germany's Auto-Bild-Motorsport said the beleaguered Maranello based team has already commenced its search for the Finn's successor, after failing to live up to his reputation and newfound status as the highest earning F1 racer following his switch from McLaren for 2007.

Not only is the 27-year-old struggling to keep up with Felipe Massa in the other F2007, Ferrari bosses are apparently also concerned about Raikkonen's lack of focus and rookie errors - such as failing to get his car quickly off the line.


Part of the Auto-Bild-Motorsport rumour is that newly retired Michael Schumacher is the obvious choice to replace Raikkonen, but paddock rumblings have also hinted at McLaren's disgruntled Fernando Alonso or Williams' impressive Nico Rosberg to fill the seat.

The speculation may also be related to new gossip this week that says Toyota could be eyeing Raikkonen as a replacement for Ralf Schumacher next year and beyond.

Ferrari is now coming under intense pressure from the notorious and influential Italian media, with La Gazzetta dello Sport headlining this week that the trip to North America was a 'total failure' for the Prancing Horse.

Ειδικά όταν το δημοσίευμα έρχεται μετά από ενα GP που ο Kimi δεν πήγε τόσο άσχημα όσο φαίνεται. Το μόνο κακό που έγινε στο Indi είναι η βλακώδης στρατηγική που επέλεξε η ομάδα για την εκκίνηση με πολλά καύσιμα και σκληρά λάστιχα. Ο Kimi στο συγκεκριμένο GP απέδωσε καλύτερα από τον Massa που κοιμόταν και αν δεί κανείς την εκκίνηση ξεκίνησε μια χαρά, τις θέσεις τις έχασε λόγο βάρους, ελαστικών και βρώμικης μεριάς. Δε λέω η απόδοση του δεν είναι αυτή που θα περίμενε κανείς αλλά δε φταίει μόνο αυτός γι'αυτό. Φέτος βλέπουμε τους 2 πρώτους οδηγούς των 2 καλύτερων ομάδων να αποδίδουν χειρότερα από τους δεύτερους, αυτό δεν είναι τυχαίο και οι ομάδες το ξέρουν πολύ καλύτερα από εμας. Ο Kimi και ο Alonso πέρα από το οτι έχουν πιθανόν προβλήματα προσαρμογής σε μια νεα ομάδα και σε διαφορετικά ελαστικά, μέχρι την αρχή της χρονιάς λόγω συμβολαίων με τις παλιές τους ομάδες δεν μπορούσαν να οδηγήσουν, όλες οι δοκιμές εξέλιξεις έγιναν από τους δεύτερους που ήταν ήδη εκεί και τα αυτοκίνητα καλώς ή κακώς έχουν ραφτεί στα μέτρα τους, αυτό που συμβαίνει εμένα μου φαίνεται λογικό, νομίζω τώρα σιγά σιγά θα αρχίσουμε να βλέπουμε την πραγματική απόδοση των Kimi και Alonso. O Kimi χειρότερος από τον Massa??? Μη τρελαθούμε κιόλας :crazy_1::crazy_1:

Με λίγο ψάξιμο πάντως τα δημοσιεύματα πρέπει να είναι καραάκυρα αφού άλλα λένε οτι η Ferrari διώχνει τον Kimi και άλλα οτι ο Alonso φεύγει από την Mclaren...έλεος c:c:

Raikkonen admitted his team have been paying the price for not being able to shine in qualifying, but he reckons Ferrari are also losing out at the starts.
"We lost points especially because of our performance in the qualifying and then at the starts," he said. "Our performance was less than we had expected. McLaren have taken a step forward. It seems that they are able to heat up their tyres*, which gives them more grip and performance on the first lap.
"During the last two races I had to start on the dirty side of the track. That did not help. On top of that I started with hard tyres at Indy, while all the others started on the soft ones. Having said that, we need to improve in this part of the race, because when you lose positions at the start, it makes life very difficult.
"For example at Indianapolis I managed to pass Heidfeld and Kovalainen and I was able to push. The car was well balanced and I was able to get some really good laptimes. Then I closed up on Felipe, and when you're behind your teammate during the closing stages of a Grand Prix, you don't want to risk too much."


*Τί εννοεί ο ποιητής??? Η Ferrari δεν είχε πέρσι κάτι κουτιά αντί για κουβέρτες? Αν θυμάμαι σωστά αυτά τα απαγόρεψε η FIA. Υπονοεί οτι η Mclaren έχει βρεί τρόπο να τα ζεσταίνει καλύτερα???
