BenQ America Corp.- Booth 30313, South Hall, LVCC
* BenQ will introduce the WiFi-capable PB8260 DLP projector for greater
content management and download capabilities. The 802.11b-compliant
projector offers XGA resolution (1024x768), 3200 lumens and a 2000:1
contrast ratio.
* Also new is the BenQ PE8720 digital home cinema projector featuring
DLP HD2+ technology. The high-end video projector features an 8-
segment color wheel and delivers an astounding 5500:1 contrast ratio
and WXGA resolution (1280x720). Available in early March, the PE8720
comes with an estimated street price of $10,999.
* BenQ will also expand its line of home theater projectors with the
PE7700, which features DLP HD2+ technology, a 2500:1 contrast ratio
and WXGA resolution. Available in early March, the PE7700 marks a new
milestone with a 720p projector at a price point of just $3299.
DWIN Electronics, Inc.- Booth 20656, South Hall, LVCC
* DWIN will introduce the TransVision(TM) 4 high-definition video
projector system, the first home theater projector in its class to
include a native-rate outboard digital video processor for custom
installation flexibility and system convenience. The TransVision(TM)
4 features DLP 720p technology and will be available in March with a
suggested retail price of $6,495 (http://www.dwin.com ).
HP - Booth 70319, Innovations Plus in Central Plaza, LVCC
* HP will demonstrate the ep9010 Instant Cinema, which includes DLP
projection, a built-in DVD player, and DTS audio and Dolby 2.1
Surround Sound at an ESP of $1,999. Announced in late 2004, it has
been honored with many prestigious awards, including CES Best of
Innovations 2005 Honoree, Best Product Audio-Video category award at
WPC Expo in Tokyo, and Best Product Digital Home award at RetailVision
event in Europe.
* HP will also demonstrate the HP ep7120 digital projector featuring DLP
technology, plug-and-play functionality for easy home setup, a
lightweight design (12.5 lbs.), whisper quiet operation (less than
34dbA) and a U.S. street price of less than $3,000.
InFocus Corporation- Booth 15438, Central Hall, LVCC
* InFocus will debut the ScreenPlay(R) 7210 high-definition home theater
projector featuring DLP technology with native 720p video performance,
1400 lumens and 2800:1 contrast. The ScreenPlay 7210 includes the
Faroudja DCDi 2310 deinterlacer, a Carl Zeiss 1.3x zoom lens with a
35mm filter thread; and will be available through home theater and AV
dealers in February.
* The InFocus ScreenPlay 777 DLP 3-chip projector and ScreenPlay 61md10
DLP TV are CES Best of Innovations 2005 Honorees. The ScreenPlay 777
is the ideal solution for home cinemas, offering a 3000:1 contrast
ratio, 2000 lumens, a 1280x720 native resolution and eight video
inputs. The ScreenPlay 61md10 television is a break-through in DLP TV
design with a 6.8" ultra-thin cabinet depth and award-winning InFocus
ScreenPlay image quality.
LG Electronics, Inc. - Booth 8214, Central Hall, LVCC
* LG Electronics at CES will showcase a wide range of DLP displays that
incorporate new capabilities along with the latest technology,
including DLP 1080p TV technology, delivering clear and bright images
for better overall picture quality. LG's new DLP TV lineup includes
two 62-inch models, a 56-inch set and a 52-inch unit, all widescreen
digital-cable-ready HDTVs.
* LG Model 62SY2D, a 62-inch integrated DLP TV, which is being honored
with a 2005 CES Innovations Award, is a widescreen, integrated HDTV
that is digital-cable ready. It also receives free over-the-air HDTV
signals via its built-in ATSC tuner, using LG's proven fifth-
generation VSB chipset. This HDTV has a native resolution of
1920x1080, contrast ratio of 3000:1, brightness of 450cd/m2, 9-in-2
memory card reader and XD Engine. The 62SY2D will be available in
second-quarter 2005.
* Similarly featured LG 62-inch DLP TV model 62SX4D offers 1280x720
native resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2 brightness.
The product is planned for second-quarter 2005 availability. LG's new
56- and 52-inch models (56SY2D and 52SX4D) also are expected to be
available in the second quarter.

* Mitsubishi will unveil a DLP Pocket Projector, ushering in a whole new
category of portable projection in a never before seen micro form
factor. The Mitsubishi Pocket Projector utilizes an LED light source
to enable on-the-fly fun viewing movies, digital camera pictures and
video, and games from almost anywhere. With dimensions of just
121x47x97 mm and weighing only 400g, the Mitsubishi Pocket Projector
can easily fit into a user's pocket. It also features instant on-and-
off, and quick play for true consumer convenience and flexibility.
