Σημερα το Πιονεερ 696 μου εβγαλε το εξης παραξενο προβλημα:
Μολις το αναβω (εχει δεν εχει DVD μεσα) βγαζει ενα τετοιο μενου:
(Player's Region Setting)
<2> Region
<4> Region
<5> Region
Pick out any one of these.
....και βεβαια δεν μπορω να κανω καμμια επιλογη ουτe απο το χειριστηριο ουτε απο το Player.
Κατι εχει κλειδωσει προφανως....
Στο site Pionner 696 FAQ αναφερονται τα εξης:
When I switch on the player, the player goes to a Regional Settings Screen where it prompts me to select a region code from 1-6.

<2> : Region
<3> : Region
<4> : Region
<5> : Region
<6> : Region
Pick Out One Of These!
But I am unable to select any region using the remote control or the buttons on the player. What do I do?
You need to get a Pioneer Service Remote. When you have it you should press: [ESC] [A.MON] [Numbers], where [Numbers] correspond to the region number you want to set. Be aware that you can only set this once, if you set the wrong region number for your area, there is no turning back.
With RS232 cable:
1. Connect cable to the player and PC.
2. Power up your player, wait until region selection menu will appear.
3. Run MtkTool on PC.
2. In MtkTool click toolbar button with compact disc icon (R/W Register).
3. Select "8032 XDATA"
4. In "Addr" field enter FB00 (F, B and two zeros)
5. In "Data" field enter 9C if your player´s original region is 2, 9E if your player´s original region is 4 or 9F if your player´s original region is 5.
6. Click "Write". Region selection menu should disappear.
και ρωταω ειναι δυνατον να ψαχνω να βρω το service και να κουβαλαω το μηχανημα για να πατησει καποιος 2-3 κουμπακια;
Η αλλη η μεθοδος με το RS232 δεν ειναι καπως 'επικινδυνη'
Τι λετε βρε παιδια;;;
