"The Digital Bits is reporting that the first official sales figures in the HD-DVD vs Blu-Ray software war have come in and Blu-Ray movie disks are outselling HD-DVD movies by over a two to one margin. The numbers from Nielsen VideoScan show that for every 100 Blu-Ray movies sold on Jan. 14, just 38.35 HD-DVD movies were sold. It's likely that sales of the Blu-Ray equipped PS3 console are the main reason for the jump in Blu-Ray movie sales..."
