Polaroid photographers mark iconic film's final 'use by' date

Photographers today mark the final 'use by' date of the last batch of Polaroid film with the launch of an exhibition, entitled 'Expo.09.10.09'.

Famous photographers featured in the Atlas Gallery show in London include David Bailey, Elliott Erwitt, Helmut Newton and Rankin.

Last year Polaroid announced the end of the iconic film which rose to fame after Edwin Land's invention of 'one-step photography' in 1947.
