Εντάξει το ομολογώ..
Ξύπνησε η σκοτεινή πλευρά του εαυτού μου και χάζευα μερικά ηχητικά προϊόντα και sites.Και πέφτω πάνω σε αυτό:

Show in Las Vegas, I waxed ecstatic about the extraordinary, highly efficient, hand-made washi-paper Feastrex drivers distributed by Joe Cohen's Lotus Group of Northern California. The units are hand-crafted in Japan by Haruhiko Teramoto, who hand-rubs the frame, phase plug, and voice-coils of both his Feastrex D53 III 5" field-coil drivers ($39,000/pair) and D9e II 9" field-coil drivers ($31,500/pair) with traditional urushi lacquer.

Ε,έμεινα να τα κοιτάω ωσαν την αγελάδα το τρένο..

Και ερωτώ τους ντιούηδες.
Τα ξέρατε;(Κανα-δυο που συχνάζουν στο diy.com θα τα έχουν δει λογικά)

τα φερανε απ εξω πριν κανα χρονο, νομιζω δεν υπηρχε Ελληνικη αντιπροσωπεια τοτε.
φτιαξαμε μια καμπινα συμφωνα με τις οδηγιες του site, καψαμε και το ενα (θελει ρευμα για να δουλεξει!!) αλλα το αλλαξανε...
γενικα ηχος παρα πολυ καλος για αυτο που ειναι.
επειδη η συγκριση εγινε με τριδρομα cost no object diy δεν ηταν δικαιη.
κατι αλλο, νομιζω οτι και η lowther παει προς τα εκει και μαλιστα με λιγοτερα χρηματα...

για μενα αυτη ειναι ητελεια υλοποιηση τους.
ανοιχτη μπαφλα, ενεργα xover κλπ κλπ

Field coil drivers have a unique ability to accurately reproduce a musical event. This is because the magnetic field is extremely stiff, and resist deflection when the voice coil magnetic field pushes against it. Because of this, the driver is capable of provided a tremendous amount of information, the harmonic development and low level information that escapes most other drivers.

It requires a separate power supply with 15 volts and 2 amps of power. This is used to power the magnet. Very heavy (26 lbs) and it produces a fair amount of heat. Virtually all of the power going into the driver is transformed into heat.

The most accurate driver that money can buy. Deliveries are expected to start before the end of the year.

Introduced in 1924, the Radiola 104 "loudspeaker" was one of the first AC operated devises offered by RCA. Not only a powerful electromagnetic speaker but an amplifier and power supply is also contained in the cabinet.

The tubes used in the electronics are: 2 - UX-216B rectifiers, UX-874 voltage regulator, UV-876 ballast (or line regulator) and UX-210 power amplifier.

The "RPA" (as referred to by RCA) also supplied A & B voltages needed to operate the Radiola 28 receiver.

The Radiola
The Rice-Kellogg paper of 1925 was important in disseminating research on loudspeaker design. It resulted in the production of a loudspeaker design that drove most others out of the market within a few years. It published an amplifier design that was important in boosting the power transmitted to loudspeakers. In 1926, the commercial version was sold as the Radiola Model 104 loudspeaker with a 1-watt power amp. The power of this amp, and the extra terminals on the back of the Model 104 allowed attachment of a radio receiver, the Radiola 28.

"This combination of the Radiola 28 and the Radiola Loudspeaker 104 thus made available for the first time a complete batteryless radio receiver that could be operated like any other electrical appliance, merely by 'plugging it in.' The enthusiastic acceptance of this offering - even at the 1926 price of $250 for the 104 alone - indicated clearly that this was indeed what the public had been waiting for. This was also added fuel for the fires already lit under the development of new types of amplifier tubes especially adapted for a.c. operation, and the stampede toward their universal use in radio receivers gathered momentum quickly during 1926-1928. With the completion of the changeover to a.c. operation, the whole radio industry experienced the same kind of explosive release that follows removal of the key log in a jam, and into discard along with headphones and batteries went the last barrier between radio reception and a mass market that was soon demanding electro-acoustic transducers by the millions." Ναι αλλά... κοιτάτε ένα ψιλό καλώδιο που κρέμεται στο radiola ασχετοι!

Άσε βρε τα βιντεάκια και πέρνα στην ταμπακιέρα..
Όντως είναι ικανότερα στην διαχείρηση του μαγνητικού πεδίου και της θερμότητας που αναπτύσσεται εντός αυτού;
