Its high lumen output makes it powerful enough for large screens or even use in the living room, while its good out of the box color means only minimal adjustment is necessary before you can enjoy your movie. Dynamic range is high, shadows are good, and black level is comparable to other projectors in its price range. While the projector has some quirks, most notably in the inclusion of only a single User preset and the choice of white glasses for 3D viewing, it is a strong value overall.
