Performance Per-Watt Leadership

Obviously the entire HD 3000 series of cards will offer HDMI connectivity with the help of a DVI adapter or native with a HDMI connector integrated into the card, all cards fully support the DRM cancer called HDCP. Unlike most current HDMI implementations on PCIe graphics cards, this HDMI solution also incorporates audio functionality into the GPU.

Your series 3000 card can directly output audio over HDMI – removing the need of a separate sound card over your HDMI connector. Where it'll output that sound in 16-bit PCM Stereo sound or AC3 5.1 compressed multi-channel audiostreams as Dolby Digital and DTS. το ενδιαφερον μου για το displayport ειναι οτι τεχνικα ειναι καλυτερο απο το hdmi 1.3 σε υποστηριξεις και bandwidth, και ειναι και συμβατο ωστε με απλο ανταπτορα να μπορει να μετατραπει σε hdmi 1.3. Αρα μηπως ηρθε επιτελους ο καιρος να στειλουμε ψηφιακα hd audio απο το PC στους ενισχυτες με hdmi 1.3 ?

για αποκωδικοποίηση όλων των πιθανών codecs
που μπορεί να αναπαράγει ένα HTPC με drive το LG-GGW-H20N
(vc1, mpeg2/4, h.264).
Με ενδιαφέρουν επίσης και οι παράγοντες θόρυβος, κατανάλωση, τιμή και χώρος που πιάνει μες στο κουτί (μήκος &πάχος) αφού προορίζεται για μικρό οριζόντιο κουτί κάτω απ' την tv

η 3870 είναι διπλή φέτα , οπότε ξέχνα την ... η 8800GT δεν την γνωρίζω ...

Και οι δύο εταιρίες δεν κάνουν αποκωδικοποίηση όλων των codecs , αλλά κάνουν όλα τα codecs που έχουν να κάνουν με τα δισκάκια ... Εαν τώρα σε ενδιαφέρει και ο ήχος 7.1 , από το pc περνάει μόνο αναλογικά στο ενισχυτή με 4 δικάναλα καλώδια. Εαν σε ενδιαφέρει να έχεις ένα καλώδιο HDMI για εικόνα και ήχο , τότε η επιλογή σου είναι ATI ... Νομίζω πως υπάρχουν silent επιλογές από την ΑΤΙ στο μοντέλο 3850 ... Αλλιώς πας σε ATI 2600 ή σε κάποιο μελλοντικό 3xxx silent ... Εαν δεν σε ενδιαφέρει να έχεις ένα καλώδιο , τότε διαλέγεις ανάλογα με τα γούστα σου ... Πάντα σε SILENT αφού θες ησυχία ...

Αποτέλεσμα συνολικά χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία μέσα στο κουτί...

Αυτό το έχω δει και πρακτικά.
Όταν αγόρασα την 2900XT (που είναι λέβητας :happy_9 είδα πτώση της θερμοκρασίας στο εσωτερικό του κουτιού.
Αν και η παλιά μου κάρτα ήταν πολύ πιο ψυχρή, η θερμότητα που παρήγαγε έμενε μέσα στο κουτί.
