Why do you need Aumeo?

Because it's a well-known fact that everybody hears differently. Like our eyes, nose, mouth and all our sensory organs, not all ears are built the same.
But your audio equipment has no way of knowing just exactly how differently you hear.

Therefore your audio equipment can't take your unique hearing into account when they deliver sound to you, and have to assume that their users have the same "standardized" hearing.

Σε άλλο... "θυελλώδες" νήμα αυτό ακριβώς προσπαθούσα να εξηγήσω (προφανώς αποτυχημένα) στον EAR. Δεν έχει σημασία πόσο flat αποκριση θα καταφέρεις να έχεις απο το συστημα σου, αν η ακοή σου δεν είναι το ιδιο flat.

Δυστυχώς δεν έχω βρει τον χρόνο λόγω δουλειάς, αλλά σκοπεύω να το συζητήσω με γνωστό μου ακουολόγο και αν υπάρχει σχετική βιβλιογραφια θα την ανεβάσω.

Προσωπικά, σαν ιδεά μου φαίνεται πολύ καλή και ως συσκευή, πολύ χρήσιμη - ιδιώς σε όσους ακούνε μουσική εν κινήση.

Δεν ανήκω σε αυτήν την "ομάδα", αλλά διακρίνω ένα πρόβλημα: Αυτό "της άλλης μίας συσκευής". Κοινώς, εάν κάποιος θέλει να βελτιώσει την ηχητική εμπειρία που λαμβάνει από το κινητό/tablet/laptop του, θα πρέπει να κουβαλάει άλλη μία συσκευή. Πόσο πρακτικό είναι αυτό;

Εγώ πιστεύω ότι η διόρθωση δεν έχει νόημα, εκτός από παθολογικές περιπτώσεις. Ακούμε όπως ακούμε, και η αναφορά μας είναι αυτό που ακούμε. Δηλαδή τι θα κάνεις όταν πας σε συναυλία, θα βάλεις ένα μικρόφωνο θα το δώσεις στο μηχάνημα και θα ακούς μέσα από τα ακουστικά;
