Μετά την Pioneer σειρά έχει η Sony για συνεργασία με τη Sharp σε τηλεοράσεις LCD.


If you'll recall, Samsung announced plans last November to expand an 8G LCD plant sans Sony -- now, Reuters is reporting that Sony is aiming to start procuring LCD TV panels from Sharp, possibly within the next business year. Apparently, the deal with Sharp would allow it to "secure enough panels to meet fast-growing LCD TV demand without heavy capital investments," and considering that Sharp is already planning to construct the world's largest LCD factory by 2010, we'd say this works out quite nicely for it, too. Needless to say, the global demand for all things LCD seems to be going nowhere but up, but here's to hoping those prices continue to head in the opposite direction for the consumers' sake.

Sharp and Sony sign Memorandum of Intent to create Joint Venture for Large Sized LCD Panels/Modules

Sharp Corporation ("Sharp") and Sony Corporation ("Sony") announced that today they signed a non-binding memorandum of intent to establish a joint venture to produce and sell large sized LCD panels and modules, by splitting out from Sharp an LCD panel plant now under construction in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture which will use 10th generation mother glass substrates. Certain information concerning the joint venture is outlined below, and the two companies will negotiate in good faith to enter into legally binding joint venture documentation by September 30, 2008.

The parties will aim through this collaboration to further strengthen Sharp's advanced LCD display technologies and Sony's competitiveness in the TV market.

Once the joint venture agreement is entered into and becomes effective, and subject to receipt of necessary government approvals, the new joint venture will seek to maximize the advantages gained from using the world's first 10th generation glass substrates to produce large sized LCD panels and modules that deliver the industry's highest levels of quality, cost and performance. These will then be supplied to Sharp and Sony in quantities corresponding to their respective investments. Sharp and Sony will also discuss and study the possibility to jointly develop components for LCD modules to further reinforce their mutual cooperation.

The new company will endeavor to rapidly establish full and stable manufacturing operations at a new state of the art facility producing large sized LCD panels, and, in coordination with other companies concerned, will realize the vision of "Manufacturing Complex for the 21st Century".

Ναι, το είδα τώρα. Μόνο που είναι στην κατηγορία HTPC. Κάποιος Mod ας το σβήσει από εκεί και να διορθώσει το δικό μου όπως νομίζει ώστε να είναι πλήρες.

Αφου δεν εχει ετοιμη γραμμη παραγωγης για LCD panel λογικο να παρει απο την καλυτερη που ειναι η Sharp.

και το vaio Μου εχει SHARP οθόνη WUXGA 1920x1200 ή μάλλον είχε μέχρι προχθές γιατί η κόρη μου εκλεισε το ποντίκι ανάμεσα απο το πληκτρολόγιο και την οθόνη και σκλατς η LCD!!!!

και το vaio Μου εχει SHARP οθόνη WUXGA 1920x1200 ή μάλλον είχε μέχρι προχθές γιατί η κόρη μου εκλεισε το ποντίκι ανάμεσα απο το πληκτρολόγιο και την οθόνη και σκλατς η LCD!!!!

Αγόρασα εναντι 190 Ευρώ μια οθόνη για το συγκεκριμένο μου λάπτοπ απο Τούρκο στην Γερμανία μέσω ebay.de με paypal protection και ευτυχώς το πακέτο είναι στον δρόμο με τσεκαρησμένη online φορτωτική.

Μακάρι το τελικό κόστος αλλαγής να είναι αυτά τα 190 ευρώ.

Αγόρασα εναντι 190 Ευρώ μια οθόνη για το συγκεκριμένο μου λάπτοπ απο Τούρκο στην Γερμανία μέσω ebay.de με paypal protection και ευτυχώς το πακέτο είναι στον δρόμο με τσεκαρησμένη online φορτωτική.

Μακάρι το τελικό κόστος αλλαγής να είναι αυτά τα 190 ευρώ.

Ε άμα είναι σίγουρο ότι ταιριάζει αυτή η οθόνη 190 θα είναι... Εκτός αν εννοείς και το κόστος τοποθέτησης. Πάντως αν πιάνουν τα χέρια σου μπορείς να την αλλάξεις και μόνος σου. Εγώ το έχω κάνει σε περίπου 4 φορητά και απ'οτι θυμάμαι η υπόθεση είναι 4 βίδες (εκτός του εξωτερικού πλαισίου της οθόνης) και μια καλωδιοταινιά. Το δύσκολο είναι να αλλάξεις το CCFL Lamp από το Panel (παρεπιπτώντως αν από την παλιά έχει επιζήσει η λάμπα κρατησέ την, ποτέ δεν ξέρεις).
