Είμαι στο κέντρο και το αγόρασα καινούργιο πριν 3-4 χρόνια. Δεν έχει Upsampling, επίτηδες δεν το έβαλα. Έχει υπέροχο ήχο από μόνο του, πολύ ξεκούραστο και με άφθονη λεπτομέρεια ταυτόχρονα. Αν θες μπορείς να το ακούσεις.
Το πουλάω απλά γιατί έχω μαζέψει αρκετά δισκάκια SACD.

I hated this player since it arrived at home, because of its "fancy" way to interact with me. Conversely, I've been loving it since the first minutes, because of its natural, effortless and engaging sound. Clearly, it has been given a very unfortunate name: "Fog" reminds of foggy reproduction and, believe me, there's nothing foggy in the sound of this CD player. Conversely, its sounds reminds me the colour of the sky after a Summer storm....for this reason I dared to subtitle this article as "A day without rain", an amazing album by an amazing artist

It's a light, detailed, quick-sounding player that values refinement and transparency over mass and impact - like good single-ended tube amps compare to their push/pull brethren. Unlike its name, the Cairn doesn't congest or congeal when the going gets thick. Rather, it dares you to throw your most complex material at it, to discover between-the-lines detail you didn't note before - the kind that enhances realism rather than overloads the brain. It also means that like the Naim players, this piece excels at rhythmic timing subtleties.
