Government agencies and businesses have policies against use of phones with Camera, external memory and MP3 players. Now a days it is hard to find a cell phone without a Camera and expansion slot forcing such users to go for old brick phones or expensive phones like the Nokia 9300 Communicator. Cingular has come to their aid and introduced a stripped down version of the stylish Motorola L2. Built on the same lines of the popular Moto RAZR the L2 is a quadband GSM candybar phone. The business version of the L2 comes without a Camera, Flash memory and Music player. The phone is less than an inch thick, weighs around 3 ounces and comes with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Motorola L2 is available now, exclusively in the U.S. through Cingular's B2B Sales force, for as low as $116.99 with a two-year service agreement, and up to $206.99 with no contract.
