Zazie Beetz cast as Domino in Deadpool 2!

Series star and producer Ryan Reynolds has taken to Twitter to dispel a rumor and make an announcement of his own by revealing that Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) has joined the cast of Deadpool 2 as Domino! Domino’s mutant ability allows her to manipulate probability in her favor, making her a lethal mercenary just like Wade Wilson.

Breaking: Josh Brolin will play Cable in Deadpool 2!

After a long casting process that saw names like Brad Pitt, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, David Harbour and Kyle Chandler tossed about, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Josh Brolin (No Country for Old Men, Old Boy) has been cast as Cable in 20th Century Fox‘s Deadpool 2! The deal is said to be for four films, which could potentially include Deadpool 3 as well as the planned X-Force movie.

Jack Kesy to play Deadpool 2 villain, possibly Black Tom

According to Deadline, 20th Century Fox has hired actor Jack Kesy (The Strain, Baywatch) to play a major Deadpool 2 villain in the upcoming sequel. The unofficial word is that Kesy is portraying the Irish mutant Black Tom Cassidy, who first appeared in the Chris Claremont-penned “Uncanny X-Men” #101 in 1976. A frequent foe of both the X-Men and Deadpool, his main ability is to project energy through plant life and wooden objects.

Shioli Kutsuna joins Deadpool sequel in mystery role

Although her character is being kept a mystery for the time being, Shioli Kutsuna has, per Deadline, joined the cast of the upcoming Deadpool sequel. She is said to be playing a key role opposite the returning Ryan Reynolds and a cast of newcomers.

Deadpool 2 production officially begins!

Series star and producer Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter today to confirm the start of production for the upcoming Deadpool 2! Reynolds posted a photo in costume from Hatley Castle in Vancouver, the exterior set for the X-Mansion throughout the series and from the first film. Writer Rhett Reese chimed in as well confirming “We’ve begun!” Check out the photo below!
