Audio purists, Decware, have released an update to their line of analog tube amplifiers called the SE84ZSM. The new monoblocks follow the credo adopted by their predecessors of delivering high quality analog amplifiers that are priced for almost any audiophile.
More info and pricing after the jump.
The 84ZSM is designed for transparency, with only one tube per channel and a signal path consisting of a single capacitor and two resistors. The amp is capable of outputting 2.3 watts per channel at 4 ohms, but the amp is stable with even 1 ohm speaker loads. In addition, the amp includes power transformers for any country, self biasing tubes that don’t require maintenance or adjustments and even a status LED that lights if the polarity of your wall socket is wired backwards. The Decware SE84ZSM is available now at Decware’s factory direct price $2,095.
