Not content with its constant assault on the AV hardware market, let alone its recent Blu-ray revelations, Denon has now launched the RC-7000CI advance interactive LCD remote control, capable of commanding numerous AV devices simultaneously.
This is not just any channel-changing zapper though, because the RC-7000 can be expanded into an extendable wireless system with meta-data feedback when teamed to its fun sounding counterpart, the RC-7001RCI.
This essentially renders it a wireless zone management device for viewing info like track and artist name when playing music or internet radio and for controlling everything from your iPod to PC. You can customise device settings, label sources with amusing nicknames and access your PC's functions too.
Coming soon, the RC-7000I will cost £200 and the RC-7001RCI £140, with the former capable of controlling several of the latter at once to create a multi-zone wireless network.
