Denon has launched a new set of headphones aimed at ‘music lovers who want to enjoy a realistic sound in complete peace’.
This aim is achieved via a variety of techniques. First, the £499.99 AH-D5000 headphones feature polished mahogany capsule housings that use the acoustic properties of the wood to add natural warmth and resonance to the music. Next, responsive microfiber diaphragms help reproduce more sonic details and clear, defined bass, while small ports on the outer part of the wooden housing further increase efficiency and improve overall sound quality.
When it comes to cabling, Denon has used equal length high-purity 7N, 99.99999% OFC cables with a tough mesh jacket to ensure that the best signal reaches the capsules.
