"In many senses, it's difficult to know what to make of the Dynaudio Confidence C1. At $6950/pair (stands included; add $500 for a premium finish), it isn't an impulse purchase, and as a two-way stand-mounted monitor, it doesn't fit many audiophiles' notions of a "real" loudspeaker. That's okay—the C1 is an "inside baseball" product.

The Confidence C1 delivers world-class performance in a real-world package. If you value openness and tonal clarity, the C1 is a contender. It will mate with small to midsize rooms in ways that larger speakers simply can't (yes, you can have too much loudspeaker), and it won't be overwhelmed by large spaces.

All which makes it sound as if I'm trying to convince you to buy the C1 because it's a logical choice. Maybe it is, but there's nothing inherently logical about a $7000/pair loudspeaker—you buy it because you've fallen in love with it. That's something no amount of logic can convince you of.

Εχω στην κατοχή μου τα μεγάλα δαπέδου Dynaudio Contour 3.3 (με τα δύο 8 ιντσα woofers).
Κόστος 6.000 ευρώ πληρωτέα εν έτη 2002 . Υπέροχο ηχείο με τρομερή ενέργεια στις χαμηλές συχνότητεες, όταν βέβαια οδηγούνται σωστά από ενισχυτή που διαθέτει ικανά αποθέματα ενέργειας και ταχύτητα.
Τα θεωρώ καλύτερα monitors από τα ATC 50. Είναι και αισθητικά πιο όμορφα από τα ATC. Οι Δανοί δεν παίζονται σε ότι έχει να κάνει με την επεξεργασία και το φινίρισμα του ξυλου.
Οι νέες σειρές της Dynaudio ακολουθούν πιστά την παράδοση της εταιρείας που είναι η ικανοποίηση του χομπίστα μουσικόφιλου καθώς και του απαιτητικού επαγγελματία.

Εχω το C1 περίπου ένα χρόνο με τις βάσεις του αγορασμένο από τη Γερμανία. Το ηχείο είναι καταπληκτικό, περίμενα να ακούσω ήχο που αντιστοιχεί σε ηχείο βάσης και προορίζεται για μικρό χώρο, όμως οι δυνατότητες είναι πολύ μεγαλύτερες. Είναι ομοιογενέστατο, με έκταση στα άκρα, πολύ καλά δυναμικά και έξοχη υψηλή και μεσαία περιοχή. Θέλει ισχυρό ενισχυτή και πολύ ποιοτικά συνοδά.

Θέλει ισχυρό ενισχυτή και πολύ ποιοτικά συνοδά.

Αυτό το απαιτούν όλα τα Dynaudio. Θέλουν ποιοτικά συνοδά απλά γιατί δεν "σκεπάζουν" τις αδυναμίες του υπόλοιπου συστήματος, αλλά τις βγάζουν μπροστά (όπως και τα ATC). Και για αυτό δεν είναι ηχεία που απευθύνονται σε όλους, παρά μόνο σε όσους είναι έτοιμοι να δεχθούν αυτό το "ξεμπρόστιασμα".

Όσο για τους ενισχυτές, ξεχάστε τα SET, ξεχάστε τους ολιγόβατους τρανζιστοράτους, ξεχάστε ότι έχει μικρά ρεύματα. Ένας βαρβάτος 2x100w(8Ω) που σχεδόν διπλασιάζει στα 4Ω μπορεί να τα οδηγήσει. Με οτιδήποτε λιγότερο δύσκολα συμβιβάζονται. Το εκτεταμένο χαμηλό έχει και απαιτήσεις...

Το έχω αναφέρει πολλές φορές και θα το πω ξανά.
Η καλή οδήγηση ακούγεται ΚΑΙ στις χαμηλές στάθμες ακρόααης. Αυτό είναι πολύ σημαντικό γιατι διαφορετικά το ηχείο ακούγεταο "άδειο".
Η χαμηλή -σχεδόν μηδενική- αντίσταση εξόδου του ενισχυτή είναι must για την οδήγηση ενός δύσκολου ηχείου 4Ω με crossover πρώτης τάξης.

"The bass-reflex C1 has a large port flared at both ends that exits at the bottom rear of the cabinet. The midrange/bass driver is mounted above the tweeter for better time alignment for a typical seated listing height, and this alignment also reduces interaction with the floor by placing the woofer higher than the usual tweeter-above-woofer arrangement would." All Dynaudio drivers, including the Esotar2 tweeter.
