Dwayne Johnson could get his own Fast & Furious spinoff film

Rumored ever since his noteworthy performance in 2011's Fast Five, Universal Pictures looks like it's gearing up to give Dwayne Johnson his own spinoff feature, following his DSS Agent Luke Hobbs. In a new interview with Empire, Johnson says that the solo film could hit even before a Fast & Furious 7.


“[It could arrive] possibly after this one or after the next one, possibly," Johnson says. "I’m not quite too sure. I know that’s the goal and we continue to build that character and have him take shape. But yes, I can’t wait.
