Seen here in action at London's Metropolis Studios, these are Acoustic Energy's new AE22 studio monitors, designed as the spiritual successors to the classic AE1 and AE2 monitors of the 1980s.

Available in both passive and active forms, the speakers are designed for the requirements of reference monitoring, and to be rugged enough to withstand heavy-duty use.

The £450/pr AE22 is designed for high power handling, and has durable Neutrik speaker connectors for positive hook-ups in a studio environment, while the £800/pr Active version has over 200W of inbuilt amplification, with adjustable high-frequency, midrange and bass equalisation and both balanced and unbalanced inputs.

Both speakers are based around a new 20cm alloy bass driver and 25mm ring-radiator tweeter with neodymium magnet. A heavyweight sealed cabinet is used, measuring 25cm tall, 35cm wide and 33cm deep.

το βιφακι το μικρο ειναι , βγαινει στο ιδιο μεγεθος αυτοκινητισιο.
δεν ειναι το scan speak με μικρο phase plate (προσοχη στο καβλιτσεκι οπως λεει και ο χαρυ κλυν, ειναι στρογγυλεμενο => vifa , οχι μυτερο => scan speak ring radiator)
