Dear All Members:

A big hello to everyone who is into the projectors and especially to those who has bought an Optoma projectors(or going to buy). It is a great pleasure to be in Greece and I have enjoyed my stay very much. HD81 LV is now due out soon and we are all looking forward for the release. AVsite will have the first evaluation unit in Greece and we are all looking forward for the feedback. That's enjoy the summer and enjoy the day time out side and home cinema in the evening.

upcoming releases that concern our hobby and for some passion, that of video projection :-D.

I am the happy owner of an HD72 and as soon as you release the LV81 I will

I have a question for you.

Nowdays there is a great discusion about the gingatic contrast numbers of DiLA technology without the use of dynamic iris. Is there any plans in optoma of dealing with this, by constructing a similar system? Having in mind that both technologies functions with the same principals (reflective panels), is there any chance that we will soon view an Optoma projector with a similar system boosting the contrast without the use of AI?

Dear All:

Sorry for not been in contact for awhile as I had a busy month last month and traveling from place to place and I am back for few weeks before I go travel again. Unfortunately the HD81LV is still not available yet as there has been some kind of delay on the product…the good news for you guys is that the HD80 should be available next week and many people has already been waiting for this product too. I had a very nice time when I was in Greece and I am sure I will be there again in the near future…Until the next time

Thank you for your warm wishes and I will try my best to keep you guys inform on what is new from Optoma.

I think HD80 will be an interesing product for you as you will get a quality of the 1080p and much cheaper price than the HD81.

Terry, for the past 6-7 months I have been enjoying my HD81 and have only few words to comment.

You have made an excellent product, which has given me the utmost satisfaction. Never have I been so happy with a purchase I have made. I consider myself lucky to be a customer of yours, and I shall be looking very closely to all future Optoma projector releases...
