Paris/Munich, July 17, 2012. Production of crime series “Jo”, starring superstar Jean Reno started on Monday in Paris. Reno plays an elite cop who stops at nothing to solve mysterious murder cases.

Alongside Jean Reno the cast includes Jill Hennessy (“Crossing Jordan”, “Luck”) as Jo’s confidante and potential love interest, Tom Austen (“The Borgias”) as Jo’s partner and Heida Reed (“One Day”) as Jo’s estranged daughter Adθle. Charlotte Sieling (“The Bridge”), Stefan Schwartz (“Dexter”) and Kristoffer Nyholm (“Forbrydelsen – The Killing”) will direct eight one-hour episodes. Emmy-winning producer Renι Balcer (“Law & Order”, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”) serves as the showrunner of “Jo”, which he created with Malina Detcheva and Franck Ollivier.

“Jo” will be the first drama series to be shot entirely on location in Paris and filmed in English. It is produced by Atlantique Productions and will air on TF1 in France. Red Arrow International handles the international distribution.​

JO is a one-hour close-ended crime series about Joachim “Jo” Saint-Clair, played by Jean Reno (“Leon – The Professional”) a veteran detective in Paris’ elite Criminal Brigade tackling the city’s most challenging murder cases. Each episode will feature one case, while Jo’s personal journey has a series-long arc.

Απάντηση: Jo (2012) TV Series

Είδα το 1ο επεισόδιο και νομίζω πως αν δεν πρωταγωνιστούσε ο Jean Reno με την επιβλητική του παρουσία, η σειρά θα ήταν απλά "άλλη μία"....
Όχι ότι ο Reno δίνει καμιά φοβερή ερμηνεία... αλλά όπως και να το κάνουμε έχει ένα εκτόπισμα.

Θα επιδιώξω σίγουρα να δώ και το 2ο για να βγάλω πιο ασφαλή συμπεράσματα...
