Θα δούμε στην πορεία. Το ένα καινούριο είναι ο καινούριος driver. Το meta μοντελο θα εχει το Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). Για οτιδήποτε άλλο περιμένουμε.

KEF LS50 Wireless II
KEF has also further enhanced its familiar Uni-Q driver arrangement with a reworked motor system, as well as an all-new 100-watt A/B amplifier powering the tweeter. A 280-watt Class D amplifier still powers the mid/bass driver.
KEF has chosen to replace the USB Type B laptop/computer connection with an HDMI ARC socket, arguing that the LS50’s size makes them more practical either side of a TV than on a desktop. Elsewhere, the new system mirrors its predecessor’s physical connections, with RCA, optical and coaxial inputs all present.
Compatible files go all the way up to 24-bit/384kHz (96kHz is the inter-speaker wireless transmission limit, while 192kHz is passable through the inter-speaker cable) and this time include DSD256 and MQA.
While the original system required two apps – one for set-up and control, and another for streaming music – this 2nd-generation model uses only one, the KEF Connect app. From here you can access music apps such as Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, as well as local and networked files. Spotify Connect is onboard too, as is AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast and Bluetooth.
The KEF LS50 Wireless II system costs £2250.
KEF LS50 Meta
KEF says MAT has the capacity to absorb 99 per cent of this unwanted sound, compared to the 60 per cent capability of “traditional” approaches.
This method contributes to KEF’s 12th-generation Uni-Q driver, as does a new cone neck decouple and an improved motor system. KEF has also created dedicated stands, the S2 Floor Stand (£400 per pair), with dampening base plates and a hollow central column that can be loaded with inert filler for minimum sonic colouration.
In addition to the trademark Uni-Q driver array, the LS50 Metas also carry over the original design’s distinct curved front panel, which is attached to an “optimised” cabinet that features an off-set port.
Finish options for the LS50 Metas, which cost £1000, are Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, Mineral White and Royal Blue Special Edition.

Σα να το τερμάτισαν το πιτσιρίκι...
Πιθανώς τώρα να είναι πραγματικά αξιόλογο στα μεσαιοπριμα, αλλά λόγω μεγέθους μεγαφώνου, δεν μπορούν να γίνουν θαύματα στην τρίτη οκταβα.
Αν βγάλουν ένα 8" όμοιο, θα γίνει χαμός.

Στα θετικά και το hdmi arc. Όλα τα ενεργά από μιας κατηγορίας τιμής και πάνω θα έπρεπε να έρχονται με τέτοια σύνδεση.
