LG launches two new DMB phones with 170-viewing angle

LG Korea has unveiled two new T-DMB phones which feature a 2.2" QVGA LCD with a 170 degree viewing angle. LG has used it's propreitery "IPS" method for the first time on mobile phones, traditionally used only on Digital TV's this revolutionary technology gives you a clear view of the display even if you look from the side. LG claims the new model gives you a clear display even at a 170 degree viewing angle. The phone has a couple of new features like DLS (Dynamic Label Service) which allows you to check the current traffic conditions by accessing Seoul Traffic Broadcasting system. ALso included is JSS (Jpeg Slide Show); enables you to watch a singer’s photo album while listening to his songs.
In case you receive a call or SMS while watching TV a small indicator appears in the corner of the display. The slim phone is only 19.6 mm thick, weighs 120 grams and will be available by May in (you guessed it right) Korea only.
