The McCormack UDP-1 Universal Disc Player is an audiophile quality audio/video disc player, designed to extract the full potential of these new high-resolution formats. The UDP-1 will automatically recognize and play CDs, CDRs (including MP3 files), SACDs, DVD-As and DVDs.
The UDP-1’s 24 bit/192 kHz Burr Brown DACs extract all the information contained in the new high-resolution DVD-A and SACD discs. Built in digital decoding decoding enables optimal multi-channel playback of DVD video discs. McCormack’s analog circuits with their own dedicated discrete regulated power supplies maintain the musical integrity of the audio signals.
Images are treated with equal respect. A 54MHz, 10-bit video DAC assures high quality DVD picture quality. Composite, S-Video, and Component Video (interlaced or progressive scan) outputs assure that you will be able to fully utilize the capabilities of your video monitor.
