Not long after we speculated about whether Sanyo would continue to put out projectors under its own name, since the Panasonic buyout – see here – the company has announced its new range for the ISE show.
Integrated Systems Europe in Amsterdam presents new products for the commercial and domestic display industry, and Sanyo is taking the opportunity to unveil its new projector range. The stand will feature a gigantic 360° panorama projection more than 40 metres long and over 3 metres high, at a total resolution of around 15,000 x 1,080 pixels.
Sanyo's product hghlights from the show are the new LCD projectors with QuaDrive technology, using a fourth panel for authentic colour reproduction. The PLC-HF15000L is a professional model with 15,000 ANSI lumens output and 2K resolution; the PLC-HF10000L features 10,000 ANSI lumen output and 2K resolution (2,048 x 1,080 pixels); and the PDG-DHT8000L has 8,000 ANSI lumen output, full HD resolution, edge blending and colour matching function.
The PLC-ZM5000L is a versatile compact device with 5,000 ANSI lumens output, W-UXGA resolution, inorganic panels, simultaneous display of multiple pictures, lens shift function, mechanical shutter and many connection options, and also has optional interchangeable lenses.
Also on show will be the PDG-DWL2500, claimed to be the projector with the world's shortest throw distance ratio; a 3D model, its projection ratio of 0.19:1 achieves an 80" image from a distance of only 2.4 cm.
More news on UK prices and availabilty from the show on February 1st.
