Oι γνωστοί μονομπλόκ τελικοί της nuforce περνάνε στη Version 2.

What is V2?

V2 stands for Version 2, the next generation of NuForce’s amplifier circuit board. The new board, which now serves as our amplifier line’s core component, replaces the present (V1) board, thus benefiting our customers with our ongoing research and development. The V2 board outperforms its predecessor in several respects: it lowers the noise floor by 20dB (yes, 20dB – that’s no typo) and elevates the output stage to 85% efficiency. We’ve abbreviated the current-delivery pathway in order to effectuate a 20% improvement in through-put. We have in addition leapfrogged ourselves by incorporating everything we’ve learned from our top-of-the-line Reference 9 SE amplifier into the standard amplifier board. (We rather enjoy seeing ourselves as our fiercest competitor!)

Nέο mini-review για τους ανανεωμένους NuForce, αυτή τη φορά από το 6moons...

Oι σημαντικότερες αλλαγές στην νέα έκδοση, διά στόματος Jason Lim της NF:

"1. Heat management - by studying the thermal image of our V1 amplifier, we optimized the location of several heat-generating components to provide more even and faster heat dissipation. We also reversed the contact of the amplifier board heat sink to conduct heat to the top cover of the chassis instead of the bottom.
2. The differential feedback loop from the speaker is floating at the mid-point of the power supply. V2 further optimizes the bias point that allows the op amp to perform optimally, which resulted in an increase to the power output of the amplifier before it reaches the clipping point.
3. Layout and signal optimization - every signal's routing path and component placement is optimized to achieve the shortest path. RF emission and noise have been significantly reduced."

V for Victory

Once again, the NuForce engineers with Jason Lim at the helm have excelled at bringing to an anticipating market a tweaked-up redesign of an amplifier which was courageously engineered from the ground up. The V2 amplifiers surpass the V1 by way of their extended bass and additional dynamics. In the case of the Special Edition version, the aforementioned qualities are accompanied by superlative stage depth and an uncanny balance of smoothness, detail and slam in the midband and up.

The V2 amps stand up to any amplifier I've had in my system, irrespective of technology or price and I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same in yours.

Eπειδη τα εχω ακουσει και πανω σε kharma που ειναι αποκαλυπτικο ηχειο, λεω οτι ειναι φοβεροι ενισχυτες.

Φυσικα και την εχω κανει την συγκριση φιλε Κωστα Φ.

Μπορει να ακουγεται απιστευτο αλλα οι V2 ειναι ακομη πιο καθαροι, ακομη πιο αθορυβοι και διαφανοι με μεγαλυτερη σαφηνεια στον ηχο τους.

Βασικα φαινεται με το αυτι οτι ΜΕΤΡΑΝΕ πολυ καλυτερα, πραγμα που ισχυριζεται και η εταιρια (25db καλυτερο λογο σηματος προς θορυβο).

Κατα τα αλλα η τονικη τους ισορροπια εχει παραμεινει ακριβως η ιδια.

Το καλό έγινε καλύτερο δηλαδή.
Αυτό για τις σημαντικά καλύτερες μετρήσεις είναι γεγονός.

Τους έχει και μέλος της Δ.Ο. (ντινγκ, ντονγκ - για ποιόν χτυπάει η καμπάνα; :mrgreen αλλά δεν θυμάμαι αν τους έχει αναβαθμίσει να μας πει εντυπώσεις...

Περιμένω με ενδιαφέρον να δω τι μας ετοιμάζουν για το μέλλον οι άνθρωποι της nuforce. Ελπίζω να μη ρίξουν το βάρος στον πολυκάναλο ήχο.

Kαι ένα review για την έκδοση SE των αναβαθμισμένων τελικών της NuForce.

Price: $5,000.00 USA

"NuForce is very proud of the new V2 amplifier board, which they consider a breakthrough. The V2 board was issued a patent on May 22, 2007. NuForce has painstakingly refined this board using an ultra-short signal-delivery pathway. Additionally, the board is now mounted to the top cover for much more efficient heat transfer from the output devices. Unique to the Ref 9 V2 SE is a proprietary ESR power capacitor bank to help the amplifier deliver a very steady and stable stream of high power to the speakers. Thus, the rated power has increased from 150 watts to 190 watts rms at 8 ohms and undistorted power peaks of 325 watts and 650 watts can be achieved at 8 ohms and 4 ohms, respectively.

Summing Up
My view is that NuForce has achieved something very special and uncommon with its introduction of the Reference 9 V2 SE amplifier. They have taken the original highly acclaimed design and refined it to the extreme, creating a considerably better amplifier in the process. This increased performance, while easily measured and documented with test instruments was audible in subtle and not-so-subtle ways during my extended listening evaluation.

While it is easy to regard any amplifier that performs this well as a “benchmark” and a “reviewer’s tool,” what came across most vividly in my home was the beautiful music emanating from my speakers. Therefore, I prefer to think of the NuForce Reference 9 V2 SE as a “Music Machine,” pure and simple."
