Palm Treo 700p coming next month ?

It is almost since Palm released Windows Mobile based Treo 700w on Verizon Wireless' ED-DO network. Cnet is reporting that Palm is all set to unveil a Treo 700p a Palm OS version that can connect to Verizon's EV-DO network. Both Sprint and Verizon offer EV-DO service which allows mobile users to download data at 400 - 700 kbps. It's not clear whether Verizon or Sprint will be the initial carrier of the 700p, but Verizon was the launch partner for the 700w. The 700p will not look all that different from the 700w except for the operating system.

According to Cnet the Palm Treo 700p will be announced this Monday (May 15th).
