"If you’re really averse to more than one electronic box or any type of physical media in your system, Passive Technlogies’ lifeZone T-Class media server may be for you. It’s a silently cooled AMD powered Vista Media Center, with solid state storage and high-def 1080p HDMI video output. Audio files are converted to analog via Passive’s “mCrystal” DAC, which uses a Cirrus Logic CS4398 conversion chip with a direct signal path to the input stage of the built in Class-T amplifier. All that’s required for a complete entertainment system is a pair of speakers and a display.
