Rega Planar 6: Έρχεται νέο πικάπ
H Rega δείχνει να έχει αντιληφθεί για ότι συμβαίνει στο χώρο του βινυλίου τελευταία και έχει βάλει μπροστά τις μηχανές.
Έτσι μετά από νέες κεφαλές, phono stage και αξεσουάρ, ετοιμάζεται να λανσάρει προς το Φθινόπωρο το νέο της πικάπ. Είναι το Planar 6 που βασίζεται στα μοντέλα RP8 και RP10.
Σύμφωνα με την εταιρία είναι το πρώτο υπερελαφρύ της πικάπ αφού είναι φτιαγμένη η βάση του από αφρό πολυουρεθάνης Tan-Cast 8, υλικό που χρησιμοποιείται στην αεροδιαστημική βιομηχανία.
Ο αφρός από είναι σε μορφή σάντουιτς ανάμεσα σε δύο επιφάνειες HPL (high pressure laminate) για να έχει εξαιρετική ακαμψία και για να επιτυγχάνεται όμορφο φινίρισμα. Το Planar 6 έχει υπο-πλατό από αλουμίνιο, νέο κινητήρα 24V, νέα τροχαλία και εξωτερικό τροφοδοτικό με ψηφιακό έλεγχο της ταχύτητας με την ονομασία Neo.
Επίσης, το πικάπ στο κάτω μέρος του, φέρει ειδικό κύκλωμα καταπολέμησης των δονήσεων. Έτσι όλο το Planar 6 δείχνει να έχει σταθερή έδραση και ακρίβεια στην ταχύτητα περιστροφής του παλτό. Ο ιμάντας είναι καινούριος και μάλιστα λευκός, ο βραχίονας είναι από αλουμίνιο και είναι ο RB330, τα ποδαράκια στήριξης είναι επίσης από αλουμίνιο. Το πικάπ θα έρχεται ρυθμισμένο από το εργοστάσιο και θα φοράει την νέα κεφαλή της Rega, την Ania MC.
Η τιμή αναφέρεται ως 1.300 ευρώ χωρίς την κεφαλή και 1.800 ευρώ με την κεφαλή.

Product Details
The Planar 6 is built around the huge success of the RP8 and RP10 turntables. It is the first new Rega turntable to be constructed with an ultra lightweight Tan-Cast 8 polyurethane foam core plinth (a material developed for the aerospace industry) . This material is sandwiched between a new HPL (high pressure laminate). HPL is exceptionally thin whilst extremely rigid and is presented in a stunning Polaris matt grey finished with high gloss polymer black edge trim.
The Planar 6 now benefits from a single piece, machined aluminum sub-platter, a new 24v motor hand tuned and matched to its own NEO power supply and custom drive pulley fitted with our upgrade drive belt as standard.
The Neo PSU uses the RP10 DSP (digital signal processing) generator built upon a high stability crystal. The DSP generator will divide the accurate signal from the crystal to the exact frequency required to turn the platter at the selected speed. The DSP generator will also produce a near perfect sinusoidal waveform to drive the motor. This, along with an efficient drive amplifier, generates a 24V AC balanced signal of less than 0.15% distortion, which is completely un-affected by any changes in the mains/line voltage and conditions. This then drives the turntables anti-vibration circuit, which is situated beneath the turntable.
