Good news for Verizon Wireless users, the FCC has approved the Samsung SGH-A990 which is based on the the SGH-Z710, Samsung's current top-end 3G phone for Europe. Like it's European sibling the A990 has a 3.2 Megapixel Camera with Autofocus lens, LED Flash and video recording. It has a QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) 262k color twisting display which functions as a viewfinder in Camera mode. With Bluetooth connectivity you can easily share files and connect other Bluetooth accessories like headset. The SCH-A990 has dedicated keys for the MP3 player. The phone comes with Micro SD card slot for memory expansion and an external color display.
