Samsung SGH-E500 targetted at women

After showcasing the world's slimmest phone SGH-X820 at SVIAZ Expo Comm 2006, Samsung has unveiled the SGH-E500 designed specially for female consumers who desire style and beauty. The GSM clamshell has smoothed edges influenced by Itlian painter Botticelli's masterpiece "The Birth of Venus". The E500 comes in two colors - brown and white - and provides entertainment features designed especially for women. An interesting feature is the Mobile Beauty Box, just take a snap of your friend with the 1.3 Megapixel camera and you can apply different hair styles, you can surely try a few before making a trip to the saloon. You can also fuse two different facial pictures to see the result of the combination you can try with Tom Cruise and Colin Farrell. The external LCD display doubles as a mirror. The phone comes with 64-poly distinctive basic ring tones.

Samsung offers an elegant and stylish leather case with strap to carry the SGH-E500 around. The newest E500 will be launched in the 2nd quarter of 2006 to the Russian market and will be released shortly after in European countries pricing is not known yet.
