SIM2 has unveiled an evolution of its groundbreaking three-chip C3X DLP projector.
The C3X-E implements new true 10-bit video processing, which makes it compliant with full High Definition 24 frames per second content, and utilises an improved 250W lamp for even higher brightness.
The 10-bit processing in conjunction with the three-chip design also means the C3X-E is capable of producing a mindboggling 35 trillion colours on-screen.
Crucially, the new refinements haven’t required the C3X-E to have to grow; it’s still the smallest and lightest three-chip DLP home cinema projector available. And it’s also still the most competitively priced three-chipper around, with its price tag of £13000.
