A powerful DSP manages the communication with your computer. The received data is buffered in a large RAM memory.

The 590 USB Converter is able to process music files in PCM format with a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz and a word lenght of 24bit.


Reference Clock

The high-precision clock of the USB-590 converter ensures optimal sound.

We apply here a technology that is based on the 745 and 540 SACD players. The wordclock signal available at its outpus allows to synchronize your D/A converter as well.


Powersupply

The USB converter 590 is power via the USB connection from your computer. Its power supplies are expensively filtered for the best possible separation from your computer. The quality of the clock signal is substantially influenced by the quality of the supply voltage. Noise components with high frequencies can significantly affect the sound quality.

Additionally, these noise signals could be distributed through the interconnecting cables to your DA converter and - depending on the design of your DA converter - reduce its perfomance as well.

Σε κάποιο site είδα κάτι για 3000 ελβετικά φράγκα, με την ισοτιμία πες κάπου 2500 ευρώ...

Δεν είμαι σίγουρος αν αξίζει παραπάνω από το μηχανάκι του Weiss...
