Η Tact-Lyngdorf παροσίασε το νέο σύστημα room correction με την ονομασία RoomPerfect. Το πρώτο προϊόν που θα ενσωματώσει αυτή την τεχνολογία θα είναι ο ολοκληρωμένος ενισχυτης TDA 2200. Θα ακολουθήσουν ένας προενισχυτής και ένα combo cd/προενισχυτή.

Λίγο πριν την επίσημη κυκλοφορια του προϊόντος η Tact-Lyngdorf το παρουσιάσε σε μερικές ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις (όπως σωστά μαντέψατε δεν περιλαμβανόταν η Αθήνα).

Room Correction
We all know what room correction can do to a set-up, but from previous systems we also know that it takes quite a bit of effort to get there. Summertime 2005 we hired some of the best scientists and engineers to work on a ground-breaking new technology. We have now built-in the knowledge of what to do in a rule-based intelligent system, which we will demonstrate for the first time at CES in January 2006.
The new system, named RoomPerfect™, is capable of learning and extracting information from the room in a totally new way. A new unique option is available in the system: Global versus Focused compensation with either optimal sound field throughout the room for listening over wide areas, or a direct focused compensation in the listening position based on intelligent usage of all acoustic properties of the listening room.
RoomPerfect™ is being patented by Lyngdorf Audio. We can hardly wait to tell you all about it. In the meantime we can reveal the following: For the first time it is possible to do correction based on the actual and accurate measured conditions in the room. Earlier systems were totally dependent on a coarse smoothing of the measured actual response – either mathematically or by averaging a number of measurements around the sweet spot. Therefore the correction ‘overlooked’ some of the room problems, while ‘overcorrecting’ for other problems – particularly at the lower frequencies.
The RoomPerfect™ system from Lyngdorf Audio needs no smoothing or averaging at the lower frequencies to achieve the correction. Therefore the system will accurately compensate for any room problems. The key is highly intelligent software which - for the first time in the industry - determines not only the problems, but also the cause of the problems.
Development of RoomPerfect™ has taken half of our development resources since August, but we believe that this will prove to be a very good investment in our future.
All existing TDA 2200 amplifiers can be equipped with the RoomPerfect™ module.

Αυτός ο TDA2200 με το Room Perfect επάνω πρέπει να είναι κάτι το πραγματικά ξεχωριστό. Μήπως να κάναμε κάποια επαφή με την αντιπροσωπεία για να τον συμπεριλάβουμε στην ακρόαση των ψηφιακών ενισχυτών; :roll:
