The Technics SL-1200 LTD Limited Gold Turntable is a special limited edition 24 karat gold plated version of the SL-1200 M3D turntable that was introduced in 1997 to mark the 25th anniversary of the SL-1200 series. There were only 10,000 units made and sold worldwide. Based on the M3D model, it has a piano black gloss finish and the tonearm & accessories were gold plated.
