Δοκίμασα το trial,δειχνει να είναι ok.Δε μου γεμίζει όμως όλη την οθόνη της τηλεόρασης.Υπάρχει κάποια ρύθμιση που πρέπει να κάνω?

Όχι, δε χρειάζεται κάποια ρύθμιση (τουλάχιστο σε iMac που το χρησιμοποιώ εγω). Μήπως το συγκεκριμμένο αρχείο είχε κάτι. Το σήμα κλείδωσε σε 720 ή 1080? διότι κάπου είχε αναφερθεί νομίζω αυτο.

Σε 1080 κλείδωσε αλλά η tv είναι με κάθετες μαύρες μπάρες αριστερά δεξιά

Δοκίμασε αυτό.....

"I have the same black bars on all sides problem. and yes it will show full screen on the TV only when changing the Apple TV resolution to 1280x1024 60Hz (no black bars shown on top/bottom), but at the same time I also noticed the mirroring image on the TV didn't look as sharp as the 1080p resolution (which shows black bars on all 4 sides). So I'd recommend against the 1280x1024 60Hz resolution. Just wait for Apple to release the fix soon (hopefully).

State of the ATV3

Since the release of the ATV3 in March of this year we've received a ton of interest from folks wanting to get aTV Flash (black) up and running on their new devices. From a development standpoint the hardware was almost perfect...1080p capable, with a faster processor and more RAM...what else could you ask for? Well unfortunately the powers that be have not (yet) shared our enthusiasm for running 3rd party apps on the Apple TV, and the burden of jailbreaking these devices (in order to get apps onto them) has remained unchanged since the release of the ATV2 in 2010.

As you may recall we were very optimistic about the ATV3 when it originally launched back in March, and while this optimism remains unchanged it's clear things have not progressed as quickly as anyone would have liked. The biggest hurdle that has yet to be overcome is also the most essential - the jailbreak. While we tend to think of ourselves as pretty resourceful, the security related expertise that is required in order to release a jailbreak for iOS based devices like the ATV is just not in our wheelhouse, and we're simply left to encourage the capable few as best we can. No one is more anxious than us to get the ATV3 opened up to 3rd party apps, but due to the reasons mentioned above we're not able to provide any kind of release timeline right now.

With all that said, we still think an Apple TV with aTV Flash is the best bang for your buck media center on the market, and things will only improve once the ATV3 is ultimately opened up to apps (whether that be via a jailbreak or an official app store). However, this means that for the time being the fun will be limited to the ATV1 and ATV2 which are fully supported by the current versions of aTV Flash and aTV Flash (black) respectively. Both these models can easily be found on many sites such as Amazon and eBay, though the ATV2s usually carry a bit of a premium. (Amazon: ATV1 / ATV2) (eBay: ATV1 / ATV2)

In closing, we're extremely grateful to all those who have continued to support us over the past few years, and even though we don't have an ATV3 version to announce at this point we do have a number of exciting new things in store for the remaining portion of 2012. Πάντως για κάποιον που έχει είτε iPhone είτε iPad μπορεί να κατεβάσει και το vlc streamer και να παίζει ότι αρχείο θέλει (mkv, avi) χωρίς περιορισμούς μέσω AirPlay. Η αλήθεια βέβαια είναι ότι επειδή τόσο ο iMac όσο και το Apple TV συνδέονται ασύρματα έχω αρκετό buffering. Από τη νέα χρονιά που θα αλλάξω το ρούτερ με ένα με n πιστεύω ότι θα είναι λίγο καλύτερα τα πράματα. Αλήθεια lessaros εσύ χρησιμοποιείς κάτι από airport?

Ερώτηση: Αν σετάρεις το plex με το Aptv3 το streaming του ήχου είναι digital?

Το plex δεν μπορεί να σεταριστεί προς το παρόν με το apple tv3,μόνο αν βγει το jailbreak θα υπάρχει αυτή η δυνατότητα.Στο atv2 πάντως με jailbreak,δίνει και dolby digital και dts ήχο.Και το plex και το xbmc.
Αν βάλεις N router θα έχεις πολύ καλύτερη απόδοση σε wifi streaming.
Αν χρησιμοποιώ κάτι από airport,τι εννοείς ακριβώς?αν έχω airport router, ή κάτι άλλο?

Πάντως αυτή τη στιγμή που δεν υπάρχει jailbreak για το atv3,η πιο αξιόπιστη λύση για streaming ταινιών και με υπότιτλους είναι το Beamer που αναφέρω παραπάνω.Δοκιμάστε το trial,σας δίνει 30' streaming και μετά σταματάει και πρέπει να το εκκινήσεις πάλι για να συνεχίσει και αν σας ικανοποιεί αγοράστε το.

Ναι αυτο, άν έχεις κάποιο airport express ή extreme or time capsule. Σκέφτομαι περισσότερο το πρώτο διότι το σπίτι μου είναι σε τρία επίπεδα και χρειάζομαι ένα κλικ στην ισχύ παραπάνω. Το vlc streamer κάνει καταπληκτική δουλειά αλλά ενίοτε με αρκετό buffering

Α και κάτι ακόμη. Με το vlc player χρησιμοποιείς το rc tou Aptv. Με το Beamer νομίζω το ίδιο. Με το air parrot όχι? κάνω κάπου λάθος?
