20th Century Fox (via EW) has released two new Colossus photos from the highly-anticipated Deadpool which you can check out below! In addition, the outlet has confirmed that Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic will provide the voice for the character, for whom stuntman Andre Tricoteux performed on the set, and the actor confirmed he used the character’s traditional Russian accent.
“Tim Miller’s idea of Colossus was to be bigger and stronger than everyone else,” Kapicic said. “So for the motion capture they needed an extremely tall man. I’m 6-foot-4, but he wanted Colossus to be over 7 feet, so they used a stunt double to recreate his height, and he did very good job there. Tim also wanted Colossus to sound as close as possible to the comic book character’s background, so he had me to come in, since my voice was what he envisioned for Colossus, who has an authentic Russian accent. My character’s voice gives him the past history as Piotr Rasputin once you hear him speak. This made him the most authentic to the original idea of the comic book character.”

20th Century Fox‘s take on Marvel‘s Merc with a Mouth has officially been rated R by the MPAA, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a challenge for them to market this filthy filthy movie to the general public in a PG way. The solution? Make mockingly family-friendly posters and super silly billboards that sell Deadpool‘s anarchic humor. Check out the new posters below.
