Καλημέρα,συνοπτικά αν βάλεις 4 ηχεία στο ταβάνι ανάλογα με τις δυνατότητες του ενισχυτή σου μπορείς να έχεις τις εξής διατάξεις :

1)5.1.4 ή 5.2.4. αν προσθέσεις ένα επιπλέον subwoofer

2)7.1.4 ή 7.2.4

Οι ρυθμίσεις αυτές γίνονται στο layaout του ενισχυτή όπου και δηλωνεις την διάταξη των ηχείων αλλά και τον τρόπο λειτουργίας τους

Εγω η διάταξη που χρησιμοποιώ προς το παρών είναι 5.2.2 στο μέλλον θα το κάνω ή 5.2.4 ή 7.2.2.

Από αυτά που γράφουν βγαίνει το συμπέρασμα ότι μάλλον θα πρόκειται για καινούρια επεξεργασία ήχου βάσει νέου λογισμικού σε επεξεργαστές και ενισχυτές, και όχι για νέα πληροφορία στα δισκάκια bluray.

Καλα, όσοι έχετε τον Yamaha θα λετε τι καταπληκτικο μηχανημα είναι.
Πώς όμως γίνεται να το συγκρίνουμε με το Maranzt AV7702 mkII? Γιατι είναι αρκετά πιο φθηνος preamp και με Auro-3D δυνατότητα.

Μετά τα προβλήματα που είχαν οι Denon και Marantz με το dts:x που εγκαταστάθηκε στo τελευταίο τους firmware update, η Yamaha αποφάσισε να μεταφέρει το αναμενόμενο firmware update από τις αρχές, στα τέλη Μαρτίου 2016.

Α πα πα....Αν δεν διαβάσω στα φόρα ότι δουλεύει στην εντέλεια, δεν το περνάω.

Δεν θα την πατήσω όπως την πάτησαν οι κάτοχοι Denon / Marantz που είχαν μηχανήματα (λέμε τώρα...) και έμειναν με παπ@ρια.

Neural:X can be applied to Dolby Digital/TrueHD and vice versa ... DSU can still be applied to DTS sources.
This stupid limitation in the Denon + Marantz AVR's is not applicable for Yamaha!

I'm already checking some movies and demo files in native DTS:X and everything sounds very promising.
This firmware seems to be quite stable.

I checked the remarks from Yamaha regarding the DTS:X update ...

• When DTS:X contents are played back, you can check the number of sourc channels and objects (e.g. 7.1.4 + 1Object) in the input signal in “Audio Signal” in the “Information” menu.

All files I checked so far (Crimson Peak and some demo files) have only channel based DTS:X information, except the demos "DTS:X All Around Us", "Divergent" and "Rio2" ... there is "7.1.4 + 1 object"

• When DTS:X contents are played back, you can adjust the volume of dialogue sounds in “DTS Dialogue Control (DTS Dialog)” in the “Option” menu.

I didn't found any file, where this si working... seems to be a feature, which is not in use yet.

• When DTS:X contents are played back or when the Neural:X decoder is working, YPAO Volume, Dialog Level, Extra Bass or Compressed Music Enhancer does not work.

At least YPAO Volume and Dialog Level seems to be working here... and I would have been surprised, if not.

Φαίνεται πως το πρόβλημα παραμόρφωσης στο κεντρικό κανάλι που παρουσίασαν οι Denon και Marantz μετά την αναβάθμιση σε DTS:X, ισχύει και για την Yamaha. Σε μικρότερο βαθμό ή όχι δεν ξέρω, αλλά ισχύει:

Can you try DTS Neural:X with stereo music, like from CDs?
Try few of them please, and use some decent volume; I'm highly interested to see if any distortion in the center channel or other anomalies...

So, that finding can be reproduced especially with electronic music. My guess is, that the reason for this is mainly the enrichment within the center channel and the resulted multiple overlay.

Αν το μόνο του πρόβλημα είναι η παραμόρφωση του κεντρικού σε ακρόαση δικάναλου με επεξεργασία Neural:X, θα το βάλω με χίλια.

Δεν ακούω δικάναλο, αλλά ακόμα κι αν, θα άκουγα με Neural:X? Σκέτο ή Dolby Surround δεν θα μου έφτανε;

BTW, ζήτησα από αυτόν που έχει γίνει πειραματόζωο στο avsforum, να δοκιμάσει αν ο 5100 έχει το παρακάτω πρόβλημα που είχαν οι Denon-Marantz:

Κάποια συμπεράσματα που έχουν βγει από την αναβάθμιση του Yamaha σε DTS:X

• Tα προβλήματα της αναπαραγωγής δικάναλου με Neural:X προέρχονται από το DTS:X και όχι από τους AV
• Στους Yamaha δεν εξαφανίστηκε η επιλογή DTS Neo:6, όπως στους Denon-Marantz
• Η επεξεργασία Neural:X μπορεί να παίξει και σε ταινίες με Dolby TrueHD και το αντίθετο (το DSU να επεξεργαστεί ταινίες με ήχο DTS-MA), πράγμα που δεν συμβαίνει με τους Denon-Marantz
• H επεξεργασία Neural:X δίνει πολύ πιο αληθοφανή εφέ ύψους σε ταινίες που δεν έχουν Atmos/DTS:X, σε σχέση με την επιλογή DSU (Dolby Surround)
• Επίσης, πάλι σε αντίθεση με τους Denon-Marantz, οι επιλογές PL IIx διατηρήθηκαν
