Sony RM-VL610 Features:
Controls up to 8 devices: The RM-VL600 features direct hard button access to TV, DVD, Satellite, Cable, VCR, CD, Tape and Amp devices.
Supports 50 commands per device: The RM-VL610 features 11 additional buttons over the RM-VL600 or RM-VL710, and 15 more buttons than the RM-VL700 or RM-VL900. The new buttons include DVR-specific functions.
Infrared code learning: The RM-VL610 can learn up to 412 infrared codes from your existing remote controls. Codes can be up to 500KHz in frequency and 250 bits in length.
Preprogrammed codes: The RM-VL610 includes a database with more than 600 non-Sony preprogrammed code sets. Preset codes are included for cable boxes, CD players, DVD players, DVD/receiver combos, DVRs, HDTV tuners, mini systems, MiniDisc decks, receivers/amplifiers, satellite receivers, tape decks, televisions, VCRs and TV/VCR combos. A built-in code search feature allows for easy code number discovery.

Volume punchthrough: Allows all devices to control either the television or amplifier’s volume controls.
Replaceable back panels: The RM-VL610 ships with three colorful back panels for personalization of your remote. The “bright” pack (RM-VL610B) includes glossy red, matte pink and matte blue, and the “neutral” pack (RM-VL610N) includes glossy brown, matte bronze and glossy white.
9 LEDs: Informative LEDs help make programming the remote easier and general operation more intuitive. Memory backup: Maintains settings even when batteries are removed.
