Kαι ξεκινω με καποιες απαντησεις - μπουσουλες απο κατασκευαστες ηχειων ...και οχι μονο ...........1 There are some advantages to having one sub on each wall; this can possibly give more even distribution of sound. But in many rooms, there is not enough space to do this, or it just may not look good.
There are advantages to having all subs at the front; the sound is more easy to mentally connect with the visual image, which is also at the front of the room. This is usually more visually acceptable, and may fit the room's decor better.
Either way, the subs should not be positioned exactly symmetrically. It doesn't take a lot of "off-symmetrical" positioning to fix most standing wave problems; typically only 3-12 inches. In many cases, this is not even visible to most people - they don't even notice it.
What you don't want is to have all subs towards the rear; then, the sound is "disconnected" from the visual image. Nor do you want them to be exactly symmetrical, this tends to worsen standing wave problems (unless you intentionally want to do that, of course).
