Urban Fidelity is changing with the times and now selling their sexy speakers online. The omni-directional Duevel Planets use their shiny orbs to disperse music throughout the entire room. Urban Fidelity states that, "The Planets are designed for hip music lovers, not tweaky audiophiles."



The Duevel Planets are hand made in Germany and utilize a specialty short horn tweeter, high efficiency 5.9" woofer and advanced crossover. The efficient speakers only require 10 watts of power per side. Urban Fidelity also claims that the speakers work well for Home Theater setup by using them as the front left and right channels.

The Duevel Planets are currently available from the Urban Fidelity website for $1,295, with some paint finishes costing $100 extra.

Studio Electric T3 - The Utah based company has announced that their Type 3 loudspeaker is now in production. "We had shown it at a couple of shows and gotten fantastic response," says Dave MacPherson, the designer of the floorstanding three-way. "It took a while to get tooled up to build it but we are now ready to go and have already shipped several production units." The speaker features a 6.5" wideband driver in a stainless steel sphere. A side-firing woofer and a frontal silk dome tweeter add extension into the lowest and highest octaves.
